Sponsor a Hive!

The Honeybee Conservancy is working with Bee Native to install stocked honeybee hives on American Indian communities across the U.S. The installation process includes training in holistic organic beekeeping methods including how to assemble the hive and the use of beekeeping equipment.

Individual donors and organizations can directly contribute to provide the resources needed to have a honeybee hive installed

The first project was launched during May 2009 on the Menominee Indian reservation in Wisconsin. Projects are currently being planned for Comanche lands in Oklahoma, Seneca lands in Central New York and Shinnecock lands on Long Island, New York.

Donations go toward the purchase of hive equipment and a colony of honeybees. Donations of any size are appreciated!  A donation button is located in the column on the right of this page.

When you sponsor a hive, you are helping support our honey bee population, support Native American communities and helping to preserve the environment.
