Green Festival hosts the largest indoor Earth Day Weekend Event in NYC, NY Green Festival, as the largest and oldest sustainable Green Event in the country.

We’re committed to working towards a more sustainable future, which is why on Earth Day Weekend, we joined NYC Beekeeping to speak on Urban Beekeeping at Green Festival®, the largest sustainability event in the world, held in LEED-certified North Pavilion of New York City’s Javits Center

This year’s festival features talks and panels by esteemed experts such as as Frances Moore Lappe (Diet for a Small Planet and the upcoming EcoMind) and Mark Tercek, President and CEO of the Nature Conservancy. Over 300 eco-friendly businesses featuring the latest and greatest in sustainable products and services will be there as well.

This year’s festival features enlightening and inspiring panel discussions with such notable experts as Frances Moore Lappe, author of Diet for a Small Planet and the upcoming EcoMind, Jim Hightower, national radio commentator and author of the book, Swim Against The Current: Even A Dead Fish Can Go With The Flow, Katrina vanden Huevel, editor of The Nation, Mark Tercek, President and CEO of the Nature Conservancy, Leslie Durso, actress, vegan chef, and EcoLifestylist, and Daniel Pinchbeck, founder of Reality Sandwich and Evolver.”

Our roving band of beekeepers connected with the Green attendees spreading the gospel about beekeeping and talking about the benefits of planting a bee garden.
